Peel Regional Police are actively searching for a suspect following a fatal stabbing incident that took place on Tuesday afternoon in Mississauga, Ontario. Officers responded to a call at 12:25 p.m. regarding an altercation near Hurontario and Agnes streets. Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite immediate first aid from bystanders and subsequent life-saving measures by emergency services, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The identity of the victim is pending notification of next of kin.

The altercation reportedly occurred in a nearby parking lot, and police have released a description of the suspect, a Black man with a medium build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a black zip-style jacket, fluorescent green pants, and yellow Timberland-style boots. Authorities have warned that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous, advising the public not to approach him but to call 911 instead. Police have established a command post in the area and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
