The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially withdrawn the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for cricketers Mustafizur Rahman and Nahid Rana, preventing them from returning to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026. Mustafizur, who plays for Lahore Qalandars, is currently nursing a knee injury that caused him to miss the first two One Day Internationals (ODIs) against New Zealand. After taking a five-wicket haul in the third ODI, the BCB announced that he would undergo an immediate scan and start a rehabilitation program under their medical team. Consequently, he will not participate in the remainder of the PSL. Nahid Rana, representing Peshawar Zalmi, also had to withdraw due to workload management. He had an impressive performance, taking seven wickets in four matches at an economy rate of 5.42. Both players are now focused on their upcoming international commitments, with Rana set to play in the Test series against Pakistan in May and Mustafizur likely participating in the white-ball matches against Australia in June.
