The Mini Secretariat in Gurugram, Haryana, India, is set to launch a new helpdesk next week, aimed at enhancing citizen services. Officials announced that the previous helpdesks were non-functional, prompting the need for a new operational desk. Hitendra Kumar, the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), emphasized that the helpdesk will assist citizens in filing online complaints and accessing vital information related to various government services. These services include applications for driving licenses, vehicle registration certificates, income certificates, domicile certificates, and pension schemes. The Mini Secretariat, which opened in 2004, houses 24 government offices and experiences a daily footfall of at least 3,000 people.
