Haley Krista Radabaugh, 28, was arrested on May 15 on child grooming charges after one of her middle school students told a resource officer that she was having 'inappropriate conversations' with at least three boys, according to an arrest warrant obtained by NBC DFW. Radabaugh worked as an art teacher at Barbara Bush Middle School in Irving, about a half hour outside of Dallas. One of the teenagers, who has not been named due to his age, reported that Radabaugh sent sexually suggestive messages to him on Instagram two days before her arrest. The messages allegedly read, 'There was a kid I crushed on hard before you,' and 'I’ll tell you what. You send me a photo of you, and I’ll send you one of me.' She allegedly sent one of the teens a photo that investigators said appeared to have been taken after she got out of the shower. The photo was taken only from the 'chest up,' but police said it appeared she was not wearing any clothes. Radabaugh was also accused of sending flirtatious messages to underage boys, including 'kiss emojis.' She allegedly referred to one of the victims in a message as 'babe.' Multiple students reported that Radabaugh had also given them drugs. 'The victim described himself as being disgusted and losing sleep after the defendant messaged him,' an arrest warrant stated. Radabaugh's child grooming charge is a third-degree felony offense. She was booked into jail on May 15 and released two days later on a $25,000 bond, according to jail records. Radabaugh received her teaching certificate in Texas on December 11, 2021, for early childhood to 12th-grade art education, according to public records. She posted a photo on her Facebook account in August 2023, ahead of the school year, with her fellow teachers at Barbara Bush Middle School. Radabaugh also has a public Instagram where she posts her artwork, and was active at the end of April. Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District described Radabaugh as a 'former employee' in a comment to NBC DFW. They added that the Irving Police Department was investigating the allegations. A spokesperson for the district said in a statement, 'While we are limited on what we can disclose, we are deeply distressed and disheartened by these incidents.' The Daily Mail has reached out to the district and the middle school's principal for additional comment. The Daily Mail has also attempted to reach Radabaugh for comment. She has not entered a plea to the charges against her, and it is unclear if she has retained an attorney.
