Paradeep Phosphates, one of India's leading phosphatic fertilizer producers, reported a 50.48% increase in profit after tax for FY26, reaching ₹996.35 crore. This growth was primarily driven by higher fertilizer sales volumes and improved operational efficiencies, with revenue from operations climbing 28.70% year-on-year to ₹21,826.34 crore. However, the company faced challenges in Q4 FY26, where profit after tax fell 9.63% from the same quarter last year, alongside a 14.53% decline from the previous quarter. Despite these setbacks, production volumes increased by 8% to 36.66 lakh metric tonnes. The company also expanded its sulphuric acid production capacity by 45% and is progressing on its phosphoric acid expansion project, expected to be completed in FY27. The net cash used in operating activities for FY26 was ₹1,011.86 crore, contrasting with ₹1,647.86 crore generated in FY25.
