Louisville Cardinals head coach Jeff Brohm has finalized an eight-year contract extension valued at $64.8 million, ensuring his position until 2033. Brohm, who has led the team to a 28-12 record and an appearance in the ACC championship game in 2023, has been a pivotal figure in the program's success. His new deal will average $8.1 million annually, starting at $6.3 million in 2026 and increasing to $8.7 million by 2032. The contract includes stipulations for financial penalties if he leaves before certain dates, as well as a $750,000 increase in the football staff salary pool to $6.25 million. Brohm's contract also features performance incentives, such as a $250,000 bonus for finishing in the College Football Playoff (CFP) Top 25, a target he did not have in his previous contract. Brohm, a former player at Louisville, has a total head coaching record of 94-56 over 12 years, including stints at Western Kentucky and Purdue.
