Andhra Pradesh's Health Minister, Satya Kumar Yadav, publicly dismissed claims circulating on social media that Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), played a crucial role in the recent victory of the Tamil Nadu-based party, Thalapathy Vijay's TVK. During a media interaction, Yadav questioned the validity of these claims, asking if actor Vijay had explicitly stated Jagan's influence on his campaign. He further criticized the YSRCP for attempting to assert Jagan's relevance beyond Andhra Pradesh, where he noted the party had only secured 11 seats in the last elections. Yadav also expressed skepticism regarding YSRCP leader R.K. Roja's campaign for the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), highlighting perceived contradictions in the party's strategies. His comments came while presenting 'Saarey,' a collection of sacred offerings, at the Thathayagunta Gangamma temple during a folk festival.
