After finishing regulation tied at 17 under with Jin Hee Im and Sei Young Kim, Green secured victory on the first playoff hole with a 15-foot birdie putt. The tournament saw a surprise increase in the purse to $4.75 million, the largest outside of the majors, with Green earning $712,500. South Korea's Sei Young Kim, who had led the tournament by eight shots earlier, struggled during the final rounds, making four bogeys that cost her the lead. Jin Hee Im also faced challenges but managed to stay competitive until the playoff. The LPGA Tour now moves on to the Chevron Championship in Houston, marking the first major of the season.
