Cobblers chairman Kelvin Thomas expressed excitement about the investment group's football-centric approach, emphasizing that if successful, it could lead to the club being debt-free, a long-standing goal. Earlier this month, Northampton reported a £2.995 million pre-tax loss for the year ending June 2025, despite a record turnover of £7.541 million. The investment group has signed a letter of intent, and a period of exclusivity is in place for due diligence and legal preparations.
