Following reports from students and parents, CBSE engaged cybersecurity experts from various government agencies and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) to assess and fortify the portal's security. The board emphasized that the identified vulnerabilities were closely monitored and corrective measures implemented. Furthermore, CBSE is transitioning the portal to a more secure environment to bolster its digital infrastructure. While the board did not disclose specifics about the vulnerabilities or data breaches, it expressed gratitude to ethical hackers and alert citizens for their role in highlighting security issues. CBSE has invited those who may have additional concerns to reach out to its designated security team via email, reinforcing the importance of responsible disclosure in maintaining platform security.
