During an appearance on NDTV’s 'Walk The Talk' with Rahul Kanwal, Goenka expressed his amusement at the false narratives surrounding the team and emphasized that he has never had any confrontations with Pant. He acknowledged the intense scrutiny he faces from media coverage, particularly in the IPL, and admitted to being more cautious with his gestures to avoid misinterpretation. Goenka also clarified that he does not interfere in cricketing matters, as he lacks the expertise, and instead relies on a dedicated team of experts to manage such issues. The Lucknow Super Giants have had a disappointing performance in recent seasons, finishing seventh in both 2024 and 2025, and currently hold the same position in the ongoing season with two wins and three losses.
