Analysts suggest that this deployment highlights existing gaps in US air defense capabilities against low-cost drones. The Pentagon has been increasing investments in counter-drone technologies, acknowledging that no single system can comprehensively address evolving drone threats. Despite previous statements from former President Donald Trump indicating that the US did not need Ukraine's assistance, Ukrainian experts are now actively involved in operations across several Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia.
