He stated that while she fought against the Left, she has now committed greater atrocities than those she opposed. Prasad described the election results as a complete rejection of Banerjee's governance, emphasizing that arrogance does not work in politics. He highlighted the emotional weight of the BJP's victory, referencing Bengal's rich spiritual and intellectual traditions, which he claims have been undermined by both the Left and Banerjee's administrations. Prasad also recounted his experiences of violence against BJP supporters during previous elections, asserting that fear and terror have plagued West Bengal's hinterland. As counting continues, BJP celebrations are underway, with Suvendu Adhikari leading in Bhabanipur, while Banerjee trails by over 1,500 votes.
