This project, estimated to cost ₹360 crore, is being executed in two phases. Phase 1 involves constructing a 1,200 square metre covered area that includes an inspection bay, office, training centre, and storage, with completion expected by June 2026. The depot will feature a 600-metre track to accommodate the maintenance of 24-coach trains. Phase 2 will further enhance the facility with a 200-metre covered shed and additional workshop infrastructure, costing approximately ₹195 crore. This initiative is part of a strategic collaboration involving Indian Railways, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), and Kinet Railway Solutions from Russia.
