India-Italy relations have been gaining momentum, with bilateral trade reaching USD 16.77 billion in 2025 and cumulative Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) amounting to USD 3.66 billion since 2000. Modi's visit also includes a significant stop at the FAO headquarters, underscoring India's commitment to multilateralism and food security initiatives.
