Ektaa Kapoor's horror-thriller franchise is set to expand with 'Ragini 3', featuring Aayush Sharma (brother-in-law of actor Salman Khan) alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, Junaid Khan, and Nargis Fakhri. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is described as a high-concept supernatural thriller, moving away from the erotic-horror themes of previous installments. Aayush Sharma is expected to play a romantic lead opposite Tamannaah, who will also share romantic tracks with Junaid Khan. Nargis Fakhri's character is a police officer, adding a unique twist to the storyline. Currently in pre-production, 'Ragini 3' is slated to begin filming in July 2026, after a delay due to director Sahir Raza's scheduling conflicts. The film is targeting a theatrical release later this year. The franchise began in 2011 and gained popularity with its second installment, 'Ragini MMS 2', known for the hit song 'Baby Doll'.
