Nitin Nabin, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has firmly ruled out a post-poll alliance with actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in Tamil Nadu, emphasizing the NDA's confidence in forming a government independently. In an interview, Nabin described Vijay as a newcomer to politics, suggesting that first-time entrants typically take time to make an impact. He asserted that the NDA's existing coalition is stable and competitive, stating, “We will form the NDA government in Tamil Nadu.” Nabin also criticized the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party, claiming the upcoming elections will expose its record of corruption and governance failures. He outlined the BJP's broader growth strategy, which includes tailored alliance strategies across states such as Assam, Puducherry, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Punjab. Nabin emphasized the importance of women voters in the party's outreach, particularly in states like West Bengal. He also addressed the topic of delimitation, framing the current debate as politically motivated, and highlighted the necessity of deploying central forces to ensure free and fair elections.
