The Detroit Tigers have announced the promotions of two promising prospects in their minor league system: Bryce Rainer and Jordan Yost. Rainer, who was selected as the No. 11 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft from Harvard-Westlake High School in Los Angeles, has been promoted to High-A West Michigan. Previously, he played at the Low-A level where he struggled with a 40.8% strikeout rate in 2026. Despite this, he showcased his power with a 477-foot home run earlier this season. Yost, selected as the No. 24 pick in the 2025 draft from Sickles High School in Tampa, has not yet made his professional debut and will join Rainer at Low-A Lakeland. Rainer is currently ranked as the Tigers' No. 3 prospect, trailing only shortstop Kevin McGonigle and center fielder Max Clark. Yost is recognized as the No. 9 prospect in the organization.
