Shares of Pidilite Industries, a prominent manufacturer of adhesives and construction chemicals, surged over 4% to reach an intraday high of ₹1,515 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) after the company reported impressive results for the March 2026 quarter (Q4 FY26). The stock was trading at ₹1,479, up 2.3% from the previous closing of ₹1,450.40, while the NSE Nifty50 index declined by 0.57%. Pidilite's consolidated net sales for Q4 FY26 were ₹3,572 crore, representing a 14.1% increase from ₹3,120 crore in the same quarter last year. The profit after tax (PAT) rose to ₹584 crore, a 36.6% increase compared to ₹428 crore in Q4 FY25. The company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (Ebitda) also grew by 31.6% to ₹833 crore, with the Ebitda margin expanding to 23.3%. For the full fiscal year, Pidilite reported net sales of ₹14,553 crore, up 11.1%, and PAT of ₹2,481 crore, a 17.9% increase. The company's management expressed confidence in maintaining growth momentum despite potential input cost challenges, and they announced a proposed final dividend of ₹11.5 per share.
