The Elizabeth line's first new train has begun testing in Derby, marking a significant step towards enhancing service capacity to meet rising demand. Additionally, data from Excel London indicates that 49% of visitors now use Custom House station, contributing to a 20% increase in visitor numbers since the line's debut. The Deputy Mayor of London for Transport, Seb Dance, noted that the Elizabeth line exemplifies how transport infrastructure can stimulate economic growth across the country.
