The district recorded a 94% overall pass percentage, an improvement from 93% last year, while maintaining its eighth rank in Punjab. Simreet Kaur from Government Senior Secondary School, Majatri, topped the district with 97.4% in the humanities stream. She aspires to become an IAS or IFS officer after completing her graduation. Taranpreet Kaur, who secured the third position with 96.8%, credits her late sister as her motivation to excel academically. In the science stream, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Kurali, saw two students in the top ranks: Saloni with 97.2% and Amritpal Kaur with 96.8%, both aiming for careers in medicine and nursing.
