During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026), Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov announced that the deliveries of the Il-114-300 aircraft are projected to increase starting in 2028-2029. He explained that while there may be a temporary decrease in deliveries for one year due to a disconnect between contracting and certification processes, he anticipates a steady increase in volume from 2028 onward. Manturov also emphasized the aircraft's capabilities for special tasks for the Ministry of Defense, particularly its potential for cargo transport, facilitated by a wide side door designed for easy pallet loading. The SPIEF-2026, which runs from June 3-6, focuses on developing new models for global economic growth amidst current global transformations.
