The BJP further accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of misusing state machinery to target political opponents, referencing recent FIRs filed against party members who have defected to the BJP. Jakhar emphasized that if a person under the influence of alcohol cannot drive, they should not be allowed to run a state. The BJP also called for the governor to ensure that state officials can operate without intimidation or pressure from the government. This situation highlights the ongoing political tensions in Punjab, as the BJP seeks to capitalize on perceived failures of the AAP government.
