Aadhav Arjuna, a leader of the Tamilaga Vazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) party, stated that party chief Vijay has directed all candidates participating in the April 23 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu to inspect the strong rooms where Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are stored. This measure aims to ensure the safety and security of the voting equipment, with candidates expected to visit the strong rooms three times daily. The elections recorded a remarkable turnout of over 85%, and the counting of votes is scheduled for May 4. Arjuna emphasized the importance of transparency during the counting process and urged election officials to allocate adequate time for each counting round. He expressed confidence in the party's prospects, indicating that TVK anticipates a victory based on democratic campaigning practices, free from cash-for-vote influences. Despite rumors of travel plans similar to other political figures, Arjuna affirmed that Vijay is actively engaged in party activities.
