The Railway Board (RB) has officially approved the introduction of a new Amrit Bharat Express train connecting Delhi and Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. This service aims to provide affordable travel options similar to the Vande Bharat Express, specifically targeting passengers from lower and lower-middle income categories. The new train, designated as train number 14046, will stop at 11 stations including Ghaziabad, Moradabad, and Bareilly, enhancing connectivity between the national capital and Uttar Pradesh. The train is scheduled to operate weekly, departing from Delhi every Tuesday at 00:40 hrs and arriving in Gorakhpur at 15:50 hrs the following day. The return journey will leave Gorakhpur Junction at 9:40 PM, reaching Delhi Junction at 12:50 PM the next day. This initiative follows the launch of two other Amrit Bharat Express trains between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, reflecting the Ministry of Railways' commitment to improving rail services across the country.
