A significant fire broke out early morning at the Kinetic electric vehicle showroom located on the ground floor of a residential building in Indore's Scheme Number 136 area. The fire, which started around 7:30 AM, quickly filled the building with thick smoke, causing panic among residents. Thanks to the swift actions of neighbors and police, who utilized wooden ladders and ropes, many trapped residents were rescued from balconies and the terrace. Constable Narendra Mandelia notably saved a family from a fourth-floor ledge. The fire department arrived shortly after and extinguished the flames within 15 minutes, containing the damage to the showroom and preventing it from spreading to the upper floors. Building owner Harsh Agrawal estimated losses at approximately ₹50 lakhs, citing a potential short circuit or battery issue as the cause. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, although residents described the harrowing escape from the smoke-filled building.
