The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 board results, achieving an overall pass percentage of 93.7%, which marks a slight increase from the previous year's 93.66%. In West Bengal, 43,867 candidates registered, with 41,938 passing the exams. Students have the opportunity to take improvement tests in up to three subjects, but many school principals believe that only a few will utilize this option due to the strong performance of students. Notably, Anisha Ghosh from Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir and Jayshirshya Basu from BDM International School both secured perfect scores of 500 out of 500. Various schools reported significant numbers of students scoring above 90%, indicating the overall success of this year's cohort. Principals noted that many students who initially expressed interest in the improvement tests may withdraw their applications after receiving unexpectedly high scores.
