Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the development of India's first Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Processing Facility in Bhandewadi, Nagpur. This facility aims to process 1,200 metric tonnes of waste daily, generating biogas and compost while reducing landfill dependency.
