This initiative, spearheaded by the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health (PGICH) in Noida in partnership with the National Health Mission (NHM), aims to facilitate earlier diagnoses, quicker referrals to specialist centers, and standardized treatment protocols. Over 40 medical colleges across the state are joining efforts to strengthen referral networks between district hospitals, medical colleges, and tertiary care centers. Dr. Ruchira Maheshwari Gupta, honorary secretary general of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, emphasized the importance of coordinated healthcare efforts to improve outcomes for affected children. The program includes the release of practical referral and management posters based on national and international guidelines, and discussions on managing various blood disorders.
