Jindal Steel has reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,045 crore for the quarter ending March 2026, a notable recovery from a net loss of ₹339 crore in the same period last year. This profit is primarily attributed to a 23% increase in revenue, which reached ₹16,218 crore compared to ₹13,183 crore in Q4FY25. On a sequential basis, the profit after tax (PAT) surged by 449%, up from ₹190 crore in Q3FY26. The company achieved record production and sales volumes, with production rising 14% year-on-year to 9.25 million tonnes (MT) and sales increasing 9% to 8.68 MT. Jindal Steel's board has proposed a final dividend of ₹2 per share for the financial year 2025-26, subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). For the fiscal year 2025-26, consolidated gross revenue was ₹62,412 crore, reflecting an 8% year-on-year growth. The company also reported a consolidated net debt of ₹16,019 crore as of March 31, 2026, with a reduction in the net debt-to-EBITDA ratio to 1.66X.
