Students who did not qualify for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) or NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) in 2026 still have numerous options to pursue a career in science. The article highlights five significant entrance exams available for these students: CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test), VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam), NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design), and IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test). Each exam offers unique opportunities in various fields such as B.Sc., B.Tech, B.Arch, and management programs. For instance, CUET UG, conducted in May, allows students to enroll in programs at prestigious central universities, while VITEEE provides direct admission to B.Tech courses at VIT. NATA focuses on architecture aspirants, testing creative skills, and is held between April and August. UCEED offers a pathway to design programs at IITs, and IPMAT facilitates entry into integrated management courses at top IIMs. Additionally, state-level engineering and pharmacy entrance exams are also available, further expanding career options for students.
