Sanjay Dutt's upcoming film Aakhri Sawal has faced delays in its release, originally set for May 8, due to pending clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film's producers are now contemplating a new release date of May 15, depending on when they receive the necessary certification. A source indicated that the film's plot, which is based on historical events, has led to cautious discussions with the CBFC. The film aims to delve into lesser-known aspects of India's socio-political history and features a cast that includes Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, and Neetu Chandra. Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, known for his National Award-winning work, the film is produced under the banners of Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures and Neem Tree Entertainment. Additionally, Dutt has recently announced a sequel to his classic film Khalnayak, generating excitement among fans.
