Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy film Bhooth Bangla has successfully crossed the ₹200 crore milestone at the box office, concluding its second week with total net collections of ₹134.07 crore in India. On Day 16, the film earned ₹1.42 crore across 2,441 shows, although it recorded low occupancy rates of 17.88% overall. Major markets like the National Capital Region and Mumbai saw occupancy rates of 16.5% and 22.5%, respectively, while Pune and Bengaluru performed better with 38% and 41% occupancy. Despite a strong start, the film experienced a significant drop in earnings during weekdays, closing its first week with ₹84.40 crore. As it enters its third weekend, Bhooth Bangla faces competition from new releases, including Riteish Deshmukh's Raja Shivaji and Dhanush's Kara, which may impact its future collections.
