India concluded the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, at the top of the medal table, securing a total of 16 medals: five gold, six silver, and five bronze. Hemant Burman won silver in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men event, scoring 351.7 points. He qualified for the finals in seventh place and was joined by fellow Indians Vedant Nitin Waghmare and Rohit Kanyan, who finished sixth and seventh, respectively. Oleg Noskov from Kazakhstan won gold with a new world junior record score of 355.6. In the Trap Mixed Team event, Zuhair Khan and Addya Katyal earned bronze with a score of 19 after a challenging final series. The Indian junior athletes will now prepare for the upcoming ISSF Junior World Championship in Suhl, Germany, scheduled for June.
