Emmaus junior pitcher Mari Eiswerth has been honored as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) softball all-stars, as announced on Friday. Eiswerth has had an outstanding season, recording 135 strikeouts along with 25 walks. She achieved at least 10 strikeouts in five games, showcasing her dominance on the mound with two impressive performances of 15 strikeouts each. In addition to her pitching prowess, Eiswerth has also made significant contributions at the plate, tallying 22 hits and 20 RBIs this season. The Emmaus Green Hornets, who are the top seed in the EPC tournament, led the all-star selections with three first-team players, including Eiswerth, Abby Derr, and Taylor Hauver. Freedom's Brooke Rummel and Taylor D’Amico also earned first-team honors, highlighting the competitive talent within the conference.
