During the IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Rajasthan Royals (RR) showcased a special all-pink jersey as part of their ongoing 'Pink Promise' initiative. This campaign, spearheaded by the Royal Rajasthan Foundation, aims to foster women-led social change and sustainable development in rural Rajasthan. The initiative has now entered its third season and leverages the IPL platform to support electrification and empowerment projects for women in underserved communities. The unique jersey, designed by Samiksha Rameshwar Mundada, a 19-year-old from Nashik, was selected from over 8,500 entries in the Royals HunaRR Manch contest. It features solar-inspired patterns and the names of women supported by the foundation, along with the empowering message, ‘Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai.’ As part of the initiative, RR announced that every six hit during the match will contribute to providing solar power to six homes in Rajasthan. The Pink Promise campaign has already electrified 260 homes in 2024 and over 520 homes in 2025 through women-led solar energy projects in regions like Sambhar. Proceeds from ticket sales and the special jersey sales will continue to fund women-led rural development programs across the state.
