LSU softball completed a three-game sweep of Ole Miss with an impressive 8-5 victory on Sunday at Tiger Park. This marks the first sweep of an SEC team for the Tigers in 2026. Tori Edwards was the standout player, going three for three with two home runs, including a solo shot that tied the game in the fifth inning. She finished the series with a combined six of eight at the plate. In addition to Edwards' performance, Kylee Edwards had a strong showing on Saturday, recording three RBIs. The Tigers amassed double-digit hits in both Saturday and Sunday games, with 11 hits on Sunday. Pitching was also a highlight, as Paytn Monticelli secured three wins, pitching seven shutout innings throughout the series. With this victory, LSU's record improves to 32-14 overall and 9-9 in the SEC. The team will next face Mississippi State in another three-game series.
