The Noida International Airport, located near Jewar, is anticipated to significantly enhance Faridabad's real estate market, which has historically been overshadowed by other hubs in the National Capital Region (NCR) such as Noida and Gurgaon. Developers in Faridabad are optimistic about rising demand for residential and commercial properties, thanks to improved connectivity with the airport. Mohit Goel, managing director at Omaxe Ltd, highlighted that infrastructure is crucial for long-term value creation, and the airport's access will bring Faridabad closer to key economic centers. The airport is projected to handle 12 million passengers annually in its initial phase and 70 million at full capacity, influencing a population of 40-50 million and contributing 6.43% to India's GDP. Experts note that cities combining infrastructure and livability tend to outperform, and Faridabad is witnessing increasing interest in luxury developments and integrated townships. Recent infrastructure projects, including the upgrade of the Kalindi Kunj corridor, are expected to improve inter-city connectivity, further enhancing Faridabad's appeal as a growth center in the NCR.
