The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 results were declared on Monday, with Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone achieving the top position with All India Rank (AIR) 1. The examination, conducted by IIT Roorkee, saw the IIT Delhi zone dominate the rankings, securing the top three spots: AIR 1 for Shubham Kumar, AIR 2 for Kabir Chhillar, and AIR 3 for Jatain Chahar. Among female candidates, Aarohi Deshpande was the highest scorer. Out of 1,87,389 registered candidates, 1,79,694 took the exam, and 56,880 qualified, which included 10,107 female candidates. The JEE Advanced 2026 was held on May 17 in two shifts, serving as a crucial gateway for admission to undergraduate programs at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Qualified candidates will now proceed to the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process for admissions to IITs and other engineering institutions across India.
