On Sunday, Union Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh launched the 'NZP Saathi App' and self-ticketing kiosks at the National Zoological Park (NZP) in New Delhi. These initiatives aim to enhance visitor experience by providing smart navigation and facilitating online ticket booking. The 'NZP Saathi App', available on Android and iOS, includes an interactive digital map that helps visitors locate animal enclosures, facilities, and offers various thematic tours such as Express Tour and Family Tour. The self-ticketing kiosks enable online ticket purchases through UPI payments, further improving convenience with free Wi-Fi for on-the-spot bookings. During his visit, Singh also reviewed zoo operations, focusing on animal welfare and habitat management. He inspected the bird houses and veterinary hospital, discussing healthcare practices with zoo staff. The Minister expressed satisfaction with the management of the Asiatic lions and emphasized the zoo's commitment to conservation education and improved visitor services through technology.
