Illumia, previously known as Transact + CBORD, has officially opened its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Chennai, India, located in the International Tech Park. This center is part of Illumia's strategy to enhance its global product and engineering capabilities. The inauguration took place on April 27, led by Taran Lent, the Chief Technology Officer, and Srinivasgopal Raman, the General Manager. The Chennai GCC reflects nearly 14 years of Illumia's presence in the city and currently employs around 80 team members across various functions, including technology, finance, and marketing. Illumia is actively recruiting to expand its workforce, particularly in cloud engineering, information security, and product engineering, to support its global growth.
