The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the Class 12 Compartment Exam, set for July 15, 2026. This year, 85.20% of students passed the regular exams, leaving 163,800 students in the compartment category. Students eligible for the exam include those who wish to improve their marks and those who were placed in the compartment category in previous years. Applications will begin on June 2, 2026, with students required to fill out the List of Candidates (LOC) form online. Regular students must apply through their schools, while private candidates can apply directly on the CBSE website. To pass, students must achieve at least 33% in both theory and practical components. A consolidated marksheet will be issued only to those who pass the supplementary exams, which will be based on the 2025-26 syllabus.
