The highly anticipated School of Eminence (SOE) in Kidwai Nagar, Ludhiana, is nearing its inauguration, with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann likely to attend the ceremony on May 27 or 28, 2023. The district education department has deployed five teachers to manage the event preparations. Despite the ongoing admissions for classes 9 and 11 based on entrance exam results, the new campuses at Kidwai Nagar and Millerganj have yet to be formally inaugurated. MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi had previously announced that the school would be completed within three months, but several delays have occurred. Last month, Pappi and Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain inspected the campus, reviewing various facilities including classrooms, laboratories, and sports infrastructure. Vishwakirat Kahlon, the district SOE in-charge, confirmed that the campus is fully prepared, with furniture installation currently in progress. The SOE is designed to provide advanced educational facilities for students up to Class 12, aiming to enhance the overall learning environment in Punjab.
