KEC International, a leading infrastructure EPC firm under the RPG Group, announced the acquisition of new orders worth ₹1,002 crore across various sectors, including transmission and distribution, renewable energy, and transportation. The transmission and distribution (T&D) segment secured notable contracts such as a 500 kV HVDC transmission line from a private developer in Western India, along with cabling works for a steel producer in Eastern India. In the renewable energy sector, KEC has been awarded a 100+ MW wind project in Southern India, marking a significant expansion in its wind energy portfolio. Additionally, the transportation segment has reinforced its capabilities with two orders in the automatic block signalling (ABS) technology. Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International, emphasized the importance of these orders in strengthening their market position, particularly in the HVDC and wind energy sectors.
