Andre Adams, a four-star quarterback from Antioch, Tennessee, has officially committed to the Colorado Buffaloes football team, coached by Deion Sanders. The announcement was made during a ceremony at Antioch High School on April 14, 2023. Adams is recognized as the No. 8 recruit in Tennessee and the No. 15 quarterback nationally according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings. He had an outstanding season, leading Antioch to its first 10-win campaign since 1958. Adams completed 174 of 245 passes for 3,418 yards, achieving 35 touchdowns and only one interception. Additionally, he rushed for 855 yards and 13 touchdowns. Notably, in a Week 5 game against Centennial, he set a TSSAA record for total offensive yards in a game with 714 yards, including 507 passing and 207 rushing. His impressive performance earned him recognition as a Mr. Football finalist and All-State honors.
