In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal for reduced travel, Delhi's Education Minister Ashish Sood has transitioned the ongoing interaction programme with heads of government schools to a virtual format. This initiative, organized by the Directorate of Education (DoE), is designed to enhance the school education system through direct discussions on various educational aspects, including academic planning and student welfare. The first session took place on May 12, covering East Delhi Zones 1 and 2, where Sood utilized public transport to highlight the importance of sustainability. A total of 11 sessions will cover all 28 education zones in the national capital, with the next session scheduled for May 15, focusing on Zones 24, 26, 27, and 28. The DoE has mandated that all regional directors ensure participation from school heads, with specific guidelines established to maintain professionalism during the virtual meetings.
