This week, he returned to Phoenix Children's Hospital for treatment of a common cold, requiring oxygen support. Dalton's favorite meal, Pei Wei's Honey Seared Chicken, has become a source of comfort during his hospital stays, leading to a special initiative by Pei Wei. On April 30, a portion of the sales from Honey Seared Chicken at most Pei Wei locations across the United States will be donated to support Dalton's family. His mother, Krista DeMicheli, shared that the family is dealing with significant medical expenses following her husband's job loss and the pausing of their insurance during Dalton's surgeries. The community has rallied around them, offering encouragement and support. Dalton hopes that those who purchase the Honey Seared Chicken will think of him and the positive impact they are making. The fundraiser will run all day on April 30, excluding certain locations like airports and malls.
