The repatriation process was facilitated by Singapore, where the individuals were initially stranded after the seizure. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, who also serves as the foreign minister, confirmed that the crew members had arrived in Bangkok from Singapore and were scheduled to board a flight to Islamabad later that evening. Dar thanked various officials, including Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, for their roles in the repatriation. Following their arrival in Islamabad, arrangements will be made for the Iranian nationals to return to their homeland. This operation reflects Pakistan's diplomatic efforts to assist its citizens abroad while maintaining good relations with neighboring Iran and key international partners.
