A new primary school building in Haldauni, Greater Noida, is set to open on April 29. Built at a cost of ₹1.5 crore (approximately $180,000 USD) under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the school will accommodate around 300 students. The two-storey facility includes six classrooms, smart classrooms, a computer lab, and specialized laboratories for science and robotics. It also features a playground, a children's park, and a nutrition garden to promote physical activity and experiential learning. Basic education officer Rahul Panwar emphasized that the school is designed to modern standards, providing high-tech facilities comparable to private institutions. The campus is aligned with the National Education Policy, focusing on practical and holistic education. Additionally, the school has made special arrangements for children with disabilities, ensuring accessibility with ramps, railings, and disabled-friendly toilets. The district magistrate is expected to formally hand over the school to the education department on the opening day.
