BSE shares climbed by approximately 4.5% on Thursday, crossing the ₹4,000 threshold for the first time and reaching a new 52-week high of ₹4,060.50. The stock opened at ₹3,922.30 and has shown significant gains, outperforming the broader market indices with a 22% increase over the past month and a 53% rise since the beginning of 2026. In the last year, BSE shares have surged by 65%, while the Nifty 50 index has declined by 3.6%. Following the announcement of its Q4FY26 results, which showed a 61% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹795.47 crore, the stock advanced on three out of five trading days. BSE's total revenue for FY26 was ₹5,148 crore, marking a 59% increase from the previous fiscal year. Analysts believe that the positive trend in trading volumes could support continued earnings growth. However, caution is advised for new investors, as the stock may be nearing a peak ahead of the anticipated NSE listing. The board has also proposed a final dividend of ₹10 per share, subject to shareholder approval, with a record date set for July 10, 2026.
